About me

Dr. Katarina Petrović was born and raised in Belgrade, where she nurtured a love for writing from an early age. As a child, she won awards in literary competitions, and literature remained her quiet passion throughout years of professional growth.
She attended the Second Belgrade Gymnasium and graduated from the Zemun Gymnasium. After studying tourism and international insurance, she discovered her true calling in law. Upon completing her studies, she passed the bar exam and earned a doctorate focused on the protection of children’s human rights.
Fluent in several languages, she has lived in countries around the world - including Italy, Japan, and Cyprus. Throughout her career, she has worked both in law firms and the private sector, but ultimately returned to her first and greatest love - writing.
She currently lives and works in Belgrade and is the mother of two adult sons, Vukašin and Miloš.
Forever My Light is her debut novel.
